Christchurch artist, Riana Smith, has been painting for as long as she can remember. South African born, Riana grew up in Orange-Free State through the apartheid era and immigrated to New Zealand 25 years ago.
Riana specialises in acrylic and mixed media. Subject matter has traditionally focused on people and faces depicting the thoughts within, and animals of her homeland. Recent experimental work explores texture and its interaction with living spaces.
Viewings of Riana’s works may be arranged strictly by appointment only. A fee of $50 applies, which is fully refundable upon purchase.
